Role: PEM - Electrical - (Substation Project) Work Location: Saudi Experience: 15+ Years
- Ensure engineering deliverables are in sync with project timelines through effective coordination and regular progress reviews.
- Oversee and approve designs, drawings, and calculations for both Primary and Secondary substation systems (up to 765 kV GIS/AIS).
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, allocate tasks and man-hours, and drive productivity through reviews and mentoring.
- Interface with Civil, Structural, MEP, and Instrumentation teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering scopes.
- Supervise vendor engineering, clarify technical requirements, and ensure timely delivery of materials in coordination with SCM and Contracts teams.
- Engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure deliverables meet expectations.
- Implement BIM, promote digitalization, and drive standardization, cost-saving initiatives, and design optimizations.
- Foster continuous learning, skill enhancement, and identify successors for key engineering roles.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Strong knowledge in design and execution of AIS/GIS Substations (up to 765 kV).
- Proficiency in selection and integration of substation equipment (e.g., Transformers, Breakers, Instrument Transformers).
- Expertise in Primary & Secondary Engineering including Earthing, Lighting, Cabling, Protection Schemes, SCADA & Control Systems.
- Experience across diverse clients, utilities, and geographies with sound understanding of technical specifications and contract requirements.
