We are seeking a Regional Credit Head / Product Manager – Lending Automation with strong expertise in unsecured business loans, credit policy, and risk assessment.This role is ideal for professionals from NBFC or lending backgrounds who have a solid understanding of credit evaluation and want to transition into a fintech product leadership role.The position blends credit domain leadership with product ownership, offering the opportunity to shape the future of digital credit systems.Key ResponsibilitiesCredit & Risk Management- Evaluate unsecured and SME/business loan proposals, define credit underwriting parameters, and establish decisioning frameworks. - Design risk and credit policies aligned with business goals, product strategy, and regulatory norms. - Work with NBFC/lending partners to structure co-lending or embedded credit models. - Continuously monitor portfolio performance and recommend data-backed policy refinements.Product Strategy & Development- Translate credit workflows and business logic into functional specifications for the product and technology teams. - Define automated credit rules, scoring logic, and decision tree models within lending platforms. - Collaborate with data, tech, and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation of product enhancements. - Evaluate and integrate external data sources — including bureau data, GST, ITR, and bank statements — into underwriting processes.Cross-Functional Leadership- Act as the key interface between Credit, Product, and Technology teams. - Provide training and guidance to regional credit analysts and business teams. - Represent the region in credit committee discussions, audits, and policy reviews.Candidate ProfileQualifications:- MBA (Finance), Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent professional qualification preferred. - Credit certifications or exposure to fintech platforms will be an added advantage.Experience:- 5–10 years of relevant experience in credit/risk management for unsecured or business loans. - Proven track record in credit appraisal, underwriting, or risk evaluation within an NBFC, digital lender, or financial institution. - Exposure to fintech product environments or lending automation systems (LOS/LMS/API-driven workflows) preferred.Skills:- Strong analytical and financial assessment skills. - Deep understanding of credit risk, compliance, and policy formulation. - Ability to work closely with product and technology teams. - Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.What We Offer- Opportunity to lead the development of credit automation products for a fast-growing fintech ecosystem. - Exposure to both credit strategy and product ownership, enabling multidimensional career growth. - Collaborative environment backed by a strong group ecosystem with active investments in fintech innovation. - Competitive compensation and performance-linked incentives.
