The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications in an Agile and DevOps-driven environment.Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions, contributing to the entire software development life cycle - from system design to production deployment.Key Responsibilities :Backend Development :- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and RESTful APIs using Python and Django.- Implement clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to software engineering best practices.- Develop scalable and secure backend architectures suitable for enterprise-grade deployments.System Architecture & Optimization :- Design optimized database schemas and manage relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.- Ensure database performance tuning, query optimization, and schema design best practices.- Develop and deploy solutions optimized for low-bandwidth and challenging environments.DevOps & Deployment :- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Kubernetes and Docker environments.- Use tools such as Docker Compose, Minikube, and Helm for container orchestration and local testing.- Work within CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and automated deployments.Agile & Quality Assurance :- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams - product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps professionals.- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and stand-ups to ensure timely and high-quality releases.- Implement and enforce QA testing processes, ensuring robust and reliable code.Collaboration & Contribution :- Use Git and version control best practices to collaborate effectively with distributed teams.- Contribute to open-source projects or leverage open-source tools for enterprise solutions.- Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.Strategic Contribution :- Align software design and development goals with the organizations broader mission and strategic objectives.- Continuously evaluate new technologies and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and scalability.Required Qualifications & Technical Skills :- 5+ years of proven experience in software development, with at least 5 years in Python and Django.- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.- Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker for containerized deployments.- Solid experience with PostgreSQL (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning).- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and implementing CI/CD pipelines.- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and analytical skills.- Experience with Linux-based systems, cloud-native architecture, and microservices is a plus.- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Ansible, or similar DevOps tools.- Good communication and collaboration skills with an ability to work in distributed teams.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with fast-paced product environments or startups.- Exposure to open-source development or community contributions.- Familiarity with API security, caching strategies, and data pipelines.- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Why Join Us :- Opportunity to work on scalable, high-impact projects in a dynamic team.- Collaborative and innovation-driven work culture.- Exposure to modern DevOps practices and cloud-native technologies.- Competitive compensation and professional growth opportunities.
