Roles and responsibilities-

  1. Understanding the material / service requirements of all the concerned department of the Company & its associates to cater future orders and for smooth running of operations. Also carry out clubbing of purchase requisition & sourcing requirement- Product wise at group level.
  2. Negotiate with the existing Vendors for sourcing & supply of material / services at minimum pricing duly ensuring quality standards.
  3. Explore new vendors (OEM, Foreign Vendors, Distributors etc.) & negotiate with them for the best price & quality/services w.r.t point #1.
  4. After completing negotiation, carry out selection of L1 & L2 Vendors and enter into an agreement with the Vendor.
  5. Ensure all types of Product & services covered with the above process.
  6. Keep continuing search for the New Vendor offering minimum rate with best quality.
  7. Maintain tracker showing list of the parties with whom sourcing agreements done along with the types of products covered. Also demonstrate cost & benefit analysis of selection of each L1, L2 Vendor to the Management.


What We’re Looking For:

  • A proactive professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing, along with strong team management capabilities.
  • B. Tech (preferably mechanical) qualification.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build and manage strong vendor relationships.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and delivering sourcing strategies that drive cost-efficiency and quality.
