What You'll Do

  • Design application-specific modular compressor valves and internal components
  • Use FEA and CFD tools to analyze and optimize strength, fatigue, and flow
  • Build and validate test rigs for reliability, high-cycle fatigue, and flow measurement
  • Apply engineering fundamentals across strength of materials, dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics
  • Develop detailed 3D CAD models and drawings using Creo
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams
  • Participate in root-cause analysis and continuous design improvement
  • Take designs from concept to manufacturable, validated solutions

What We're Looking For

5–10 years of hands-on design experience with reciprocating compressors or related components

Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals and simulation-driven design

Proficient in Creo, FEA (Ansys/Abaqus), and CFD (OpenFOAM or equivalent)

Experience designing valves, unloaders, or moving mechanical assemblies

Exposure to test rig design, endurance testing, and validation is highly desirable

Field experience (troubleshooting, commissioning) is a plus

Strong communication skills in English (verbal & written)

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university

Master's degree preferred — especially in fluid mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, or solid mechanics
