Profile: Art Director

As an Art Director you will be responsible for leading the creative vision of advertising campaigns and projects. You will collaborate closely with the creative, copywriting, and design teams to deliver visually compelling concepts that meet client objectives. Your role will include overseeing the entire design process, being accountable from concept to final execution, ensuring a high standard of creativity and quality.


Key Responsibilities

 

·      Interpret creative briefs and translate them into visually compelling concepts and designs.

·      Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather design requirements, understand project objectives, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs.

·      Present ideas and concepts to colleagues and clients in a captivating and engaging manner.

·      Engage with colleagues and clients, utilizing your human empathy and intelligence to understand and address their needs.

·      Create visually stunning and impactful designs that evoke emotional connections and resonate with the target audience.

·      Ensure the quality and consistency of design deliverables, maintaining high standards throughout the creative process.

·      Stay updated with industry trends, pop culture, and technological advancements to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table.

·      Demonstrate passion, creativity, and a strong dedication to delivering exceptional work.

·      Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.


Work Experience:

●     Minimum 8 years in this field.

·      While there would be some weightage given to an educational background in Fine Arts and/ or Visual Arts, the primary criteria for evaluation will be the portfolio of work presented by the candidate and their ability to deliver stellar outcomes. Experience with print media/ mass media will be a strong advantage for the candidate


Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine Arts, marketing media or another related field

·      Proven experience as an Art Director or similar role, with a strong portfolio a portfolio of outstanding design work.

·      Proficiency required in industry-standard design software - Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW
