Extensive knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Windows Environments & and SQL queries Knowledge on scripting (Shell, Perl, etc.) Strong knowledge on ITIL process Job Summary This role will establish and implement standards process and rigor around the Administration Scheduling of Autosys The successful applicant will be responsible for designing implementing and supporting an Autosys environment that will support a heterogeneous Platform configuration Must be able to illustrate domain expertise in the workload automation space with a complete knowledge of the enterprise scheduler environment Implement best practices to ensure high availability for the application environments Requirements 10 years of Autosys experience with Hands on Autosys version r113x and R12x Administration Extensive knowledge of UNIX Linux Windows Environments and SQL queries Knowledge on scripting Shell Perl etc Strong knowledge on ITIL process Responsibilities The individual will work within the organizational change and incident management framework to update the Autosys scheduling environment as needed Manage batch workload in Production Control for Autosys Identify and fix common issues support staff when problems develop raise issues to management when SLAs may be breached and document all issues in writing Efficient use of system tools ie Autosyss JAWS iDASH or similar job scheduling tools Work with application developmental teams to help them understand the tools needs its behavior and develop their applications to best work within the scheduler tool also to work with applications and infrastructure support teams to find root cause for job failures and resolve issues quickly Set up jobs in DevelopmentalModelProduction environments and test fix with application developmental teams Prioritizes and runs batch jobs based on available resources and scheduling requirements Scheduling various types of jobs using Autosys job forms Assists in set up of file transfers jobs other Autosys plugin knowledge Extensive knowledge on Autosys JIL command line utilities Experience in setup administration and customization options of CA Autosys Event Processor Event manager EEM Workload control Center WCC JIL language Autosys agents and JAWS iDASH Responsible to design architect and suggest new improvements in monitoring setup Participate and configure DR exercises and recovery options restore and install configure Fault tolerant High availability systems for Model and Production environments Writes directions for UNIX team and Windows Team to install new agents for said servers Test and deploy new versions of scheduler tool to Model Developmental and Production environments using the approved change process Deploy and test new tool patches in Developmental environment Participate and translate in architecture design meetings to create expanded disaster recovery business continuity environment that supports the newly installed FTHA Fault Tolerant High Availability Be able to accurately describe the problem to the scheduling tools and to be able to start a Trouble ticket and interface with the vendor staff to discuss and explore the problem with the tool Analyze and resolve Autosys system production problems and implement Autosys utilities as required Skills Mandatory Skills :IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler,Tidal,Windows Server,BMC Control-M,RedHat Linux Administrator,Broadcom Autosys Good to Have Skills :IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler, Tidal, Windows Server
