The Role


Tilicho Labs a niche player in the Digital Product Engineering domain is looking for a skilled and experienced Full Stack Tech Lead to join our growing team.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced lead to work with our team of designers, BAs, Developers, and QAs and to deliver high-quality products/solutions for our clients.

The Tech Lead will collaborate closely with product managers, DevOps professionals, and other team members to deliver exceptional and seamless products and solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of developers to design, develop, and deploy scalable web and mobile applications, with a focus on usability and performance
  • Lead the team to develop and maintain robust front-end and back-end solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks like React JS, Next JS, Typescript, AngularJS and Node.js.
  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, secure, and scalable backend APIs.
  • Translate technical requirements and user stories into robust backend code.
  • Utilize both hosted and serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions) for optimal scalability and performance.
  • Ensure smooth integration of frontend and backend components.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions.
  • Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience, with 1-2 years as a Full Stack Tech Lead, with a balanced focus on both frontend and backend development.
  • Prior experience in leading and managing a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of scalable web and mobile applications.
  • Prior experience in Frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React)
  • Solid understanding of backend principles (RESTful APIs, Database design)
  • Backend programming languages (Node.js/Python/Java).
  • Relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra) databases.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure) and serverless technologies.
  • Familiarity with API gateways, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with the system observability and performance optimisation techniques.


Desired Skill

  • Understanding of CSS and HTML.
  • Past Experience in Mobile Development
  • Experience in multiple backend programming languages (Python, Java, Node.js) and frameworks.
