Roles & Responsibilities :

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices and a strong understanding of cloud computing, containerization, and automation technologies. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure to support the development, deployment, and operations of our software :
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions on cloud platforms, primarily AWS.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to automate the deployment process.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes (K8s).
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
  • Implement best practices for configuration management, infrastructure as code (IaC), and version control.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Key Skills :
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.
  • Strong experience with Docker containerization and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of scripting languages, particularly Shell scripting.
  • Experience with ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack for log management, monitoring, and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate) are a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering infrastructure solutions in a production (ref:hirist.tech)
