Role Description: First Line Support Engineer


We are seeking a dedicated First Line Support Engineer for a full-time, on-site position at our office in Jammu. This role involves working night shifts and is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, delivering exceptional technical and customer support, and ensuring the smooth operation of various operating systems. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to high-quality service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications


  • Technical Skills: Strong abilities in troubleshooting and providing technical support for various hardware and software issues.
  • Customer Support Experience: Proven experience in customer support and customer service roles, demonstrating the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Operating Systems Knowledge: Solid understanding of different operating systems and their maintenance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities, especially during night shifts.
  • Certifications: Certifications in relevant software or IT fields are a plus (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco).
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
