Job Summary:

We are seeking a vibrant and dynamic individual to join our team as an RJ cum APH/PH. The ideal candidate will excel both on-air and behind the scenes, combining a charismatic personality with strong leadership and creative programming expertise. This role involves hosting engaging radio shows, planning programming strategies, and supervising the production team to deliver high-quality content that resonates with our listeners.

Key Responsibilities:

Radio Jockey (RJ):

• Host live and pre-recorded radio shows with a unique and engaging on-air personality.
• Create and deliver entertaining and informative content, including music, talk shows, interviews, and contests.
• Interact with listeners through calls, messages, and social media to build audience loyalty.
• Stay updated with current events, music trends, and listener preferences to ensure relevance.
• Develop scripts, concepts, and show ideas tailored to the target audience.
• Oversee the production process for radio shows and campaigns, ensuring smooth execution.
• Collaborate with RJs, producers, and technical teams to maintain content quality and schedule adherence.
• Plan and execute special events, on-ground activations, and seasonal programming.
• Monitor content compliance with broadcast regulations and company policies.
• Assist the Programming Head in designing the station’s programming strategy and calendar.
• Analyze listener data, feedback, and market trends to improve programming.
• Coordinate with the sales and marketing team to integrate branded content and sponsorships.
• Mentor and train team members, including junior RJs and producers.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in a similar role, with a proven track record in radio hosting and programming.

Skills:

• Excellent voice modulation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity and adaptability in content creation and show hosting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in audio editing tools (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools).
• Leadership skills to manage and mentor the production and programming team.
• Knowledge of music genres, audience behavior, and media trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in planning and executing large-scale campaigns or events.
• Familiarity with radio software and scheduling tools
