(SDET) Software Development Engineer in TestWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to create reliable and scalable solutions.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern test automation tools and frameworks.- Design and implement test frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.- Collaborate with the development team to understand product architecture and features, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate product quality.- Investigate and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and document defects effectively.- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality of the codebase.- Monitor and analyze test results, identifying trends and suggesting improvements to the testing process.- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in test automation and quality Skills and Qualifications :Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience : - Minimum of 3 year of experience as an SDET or a similar role in software testing and automation.- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.- Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.- Basic knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling is a plus.- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional Qualifications :- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.- Basic knowledge of SQL or other databases for data validation and testing.
