Naval Architect

Job Summary We are seeking experienced Naval Architects to join our team in Kochi, Kerala. Candidate should have a solid understanding of ship stability and strength analysis with a focus on integrating their expertise into our project, enhancing maritime safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Develop computational models for stability and strength analysis. Perform ship stability and longitudinal strength analysis and validate models. Excellent problem-solving and algorithmic thinking skills. Develop hydrostatic solvers using Python/C/C++. Assist software developers in problems related to ship stability and strength analysis

Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in Naval architecture Should be familiar with statutory and classification rules related to stability and strength analysis of ships. Should have strong knowledge in any 3D CAD software Bachelor’s degree (B. Tech or BE) in Naval Architecture or related field.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in 3D modelling software (Rhino or Blender or similar) is an added advantage Master’s degree (MTech or ME) in Naval Architecture is a plus. Basic knowledge of Python is an added advantage.

Key Competencies Strong verbal and written communication skills. An ability to think creatively and offer innovative solutions to complex design and operational challenges. Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. The ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements, modern technologies, or unexpected challenges is essential.
