Location : Bangalore/Pune (Hybrid)

About the Job :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Windchill Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role will be crucial in developing, customizing, and supporting our Windchill PLM solutions to enhance our product lifecycle management capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windchill development, Java, and related technologies, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities :

Windchill Development and Customization :

- Develop and customize Windchill applications and modules to meet specific business requirements.

- Design and implement Windchill extensions and integrations using Windchill APIs.

- Create and maintain Windchill workflows, lifecycles, and data models.

- Implement custom user interfaces and reports within Windchill.

- Configure and customize Windchill components, including Parts, Documents, Change Management, and Project Management.

Requirements Analysis and Design :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business analysts, to gather and analyze requirements.

- Translate business requirements into technical designs and specifications.

- Create detailed technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and test plans.

Implementation, Testing, and Deployment :

- Implement, test, and deploy Windchill enhancements and customizations in a controlled and efficient manner.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure quality and functionality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues during development and testing phases.

- Manage and support Windchill deployments and upgrades.

System Maintenance and Support :

- Ensure data integrity and system performance through regular maintenance and monitoring.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windchill issues and user inquiries.

- Perform system administration tasks, including user management, security configuration, and performance tuning.

- Monitor and optimize Windchill system performance.

Training and User Support :

- Train and support end-users on Windchill functionality and best practices.

- Develop and maintain training materials and documentation.

- Provide ongoing support and guidance to users to ensure effective utilization of Windchill.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Windchill development and customization.

- Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, data model, and customization techniques.

- Proficiency in Java, JSP, and related technologies (e.g., Servlets, XML, JavaScript).

- Experience with Windchill APIs (e.g., Info-Engine, Java APIs).

- Solid understanding of SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. -

- Knowledge of PLM concepts and processes.
