About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer, preferably with experience in the gaming industry, to develop and optimize gaming applications with a focus on casino and card games. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of game mechanics in casino environments—particularly card games like poker, blackjack, and rummy. This role requires strong backend development skills and the ability to create scalable, high-performance gaming solutions.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Enhance: Build and optimize high-performance gaming applications using the .NET framework, with a specialization in casino and card games.
  • Collaborate with Design Teams: Work closely with game designers and UX/UI teams to create accurate and engaging game interfaces and user experiences.
  • Backend Development: Focus on server-side logic, game rules, and state management to support multiplayer features and real-time data synchronization.
  • Database Management: Design and manage databases for player profiles, game states, and in-game transactions.
  • Implement Game Logic: Develop and integrate game rules for casino games, ensuring fair and consistent gameplay experiences.
  • Security Measures: Apply security best practices to protect player data and prevent unauthorized game manipulation.
  • Testing and Debugging: Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the game performs smoothly across platforms and devices.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize code for efficiency and scalability, ensuring fast load times and smooth gameplay.
  • Documentation: Produce clear and thorough documentation of code and game architecture.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in .NET: Strong experience with .NET Core/.NET 6+ for backend development.
  • Gaming Industry Experience: Preferably with experience in developing or supporting games in the casino/card games domain (poker, blackjack, rummy, etc.).
  • Backend Focus: Skilled in backend technologies, including server-side development, API design, and database management.
  • Frontend Familiarity: Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for minor UI integrations.
  • Database Proficiency: Experience with relational databases like SQL Server or MySQL; knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.
  • Multiplayer Systems: Familiarity with multiplayer networking and real-time synchronization for game state and user interactions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with an ability to troubleshoot and optimize for performance.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively within a team.


Preferred Skills:

  • Gaming Engines Knowledge: Experience with gaming frameworks like Unity is a plus.
  • Familiarity with APIs: Experience working with RESTful APIs and cloud-based services.
  • Agile Methodologies: Comfortable working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
  • Passion for Gaming: Enthusiasm for casino/card games and a deep understanding of game dynamics and user expectations.
