Performance Test Engineer

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement comprehensive performance test scripts, plans, and strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications.

- Conduct system performance testing to validate reliability, capacity, and scalability of the system.

- Understand and interpret non-functional requirements from both business and infrastructure perspectives.

- Lead test planning, estimation, strategy, workload design, test case development, environment and data setup, defect management, and configuration management.

- Execute a variety of non-functional tests including benchmark, load, stress, and endurance tests; monitor application logs to assess system behavior.

- Analyze system metrics such as CPU utilization, memory usage, network traffic, garbage collection, and database parameters to verify application performance.

- Identify and troubleshoot memory leaks, connection issues, and performance bottlenecks.

- Generate detailed performance reports, graphs, session summaries, and other documentation for validation and analysis.

- Design performance test scripts tailored for enterprise applications based on requirement specifications.

- Collaborate effectively with development and QA teams to interpret and communicate performance testing :


- 7+ years of extensive experience in performance testing.

- Strong expertise in end-to-end performance testing processes and methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools, particularly JMeter.

- Proficient in Java programming for test automation and scripting.

- In-depth knowledge of REST APIs and web services performance testing.

- Experience developing performance testing frameworks for both server-side and UI components.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality results.

- Experience integrating performance testing within continuous integration pipelines.

- Proven track record as an individual contributor responsible for testing and delivery.

- Skilled in performance engineering and optimization techniques to improve application efficiency.
