Role : Principal Engineer

Location : Bengaluru

Hybrid Working Arrangement

Collabera is currently hiring a Principal Engineer for a leading banking client in Bengaluru (Hybrid).

This is a senior technology leadership role (18+ years experience) where youll drive solution architecture, microservices, cloud engineering (AWS), and modern development using .NET Core & ReactJS.

Youll play a key role in shaping scalable, secure, and innovative banking platforms while leading teams and influencing technology strategy.

What we are looking for :

- 18+ years of relevant hands-on work experience in software development.

- Experience in creating high level solution architecture flows.

- Experience in BIAN architecture.

- Experience in Microservices Architecture.

- Experience in developing technical solutions using .NET Core, React JS.

- REST and API Development Experience.

- Source control systems such as GitHub.

- Build & Deployment tools such as GitHub Actions.

- Database such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora.

- Extensive experience in Cloud platforms such as AWS.

- Baking experience : Card Experience is an added advantage.

- Experience in TDD.

- Awareness or Experience of Monitoring tools such as Observe, Prometheus, Grafana.

- Well versed in AI Powered Engineering tools like Cline, GitHub Copilot.

- Awareness or Experience in DevOps or DevSecOps.

- Experience in Secure Coding Practices.

- Good Communication and Presentation Skills.

What youll do :

- Analyse systems and applications and provide recommendations for enhancement and development.

- Contribute to the technical design of system enhancements.

- Software development and quality control of software developed by geographically disperse team.

- Work within in a team environment and provide assistance in the management and leadership of your team and complete associated tasks.

- Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of software builds and releases to development and test environments, as well as system updates into production.

- Troubleshoot complex deployment and environment issues.

- Assist with preparation and documentation of deployment and configuration scripts for development, test and production environments.
