Job Description :


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual QA Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our quality assurance team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, and a keen eye for identifying bugs and improving software quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Test Planning: Develop, review, and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.

- Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing on web, mobile, and desktop applications to identify defects and ensure functionality meets specified requirements.

- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects in a bug-tracking system, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.

- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist in the planning and execution of UAT, working with end-users to validate the functionality and usability of the software.

- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding of project requirements and timelines.

- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing, continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience : 2 to 5 years of professional experience in manual software testing.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.

- Experience with bug-tracking systems such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Strong understanding of the software development and testing lifecycle.

- Knowledge of SQL for database testing.

- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and mobile application testing.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
