We are hiring for Head of Finance for a large Investment firm which has a large & diversified portfolio. Role is based at their corporate office in Mumbai.


Position: Head of Finance

Location: Mumbai


The incumbent will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the company driving growth, and ensuring financial sustainability.

Person will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate finance, business finance, and financial planning and analysis Treasury, treasury operations, funding strategies, and hedging activities


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Some important KRAs of the role are:

  • Implementing treasury policies and procedures to optimize cash management, liquidity, and risk management.
  • Managing entire gamut of finance, across financial reporting, accounting, taxation, treasury & financial planning functions.
  • Ensure Compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and industry best practices.
  • Keeping an eye on investment portfolio of the organization while keeping cash flow of the organization in mind.
  • Develop & mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Firm's annual financial budgeting, forecasting, and review processes in partnership with senior stake-holders
  • Analyze market conditions to identify opportunities for optimizing funding costs and minimizing financial risks.
  • Hedging strategies to mitigate exposure to interest rate, foreign exchange, and commodity price risks.
  • Stakeholder management to ensure alignment of treasury and funding strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with financial institutions
  • Strategic financial advice and insights to senior management to support decision-making and drive value creation.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing treasury team to execute on key initiatives and deliver results.


The successful candidate will possess:

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 8yrs of work experience.
  • Someone with prior experience of working in Consulting industry will be preferred
  • A proven track record of success in Treasury management & Fund Management is critical.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and respond to financial market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Leadership capabilities and experience in leading and developing teams to deliver results.
