Role Overview:- The Senior Research Analyst will play a critical role in evaluating investment opportunities in listed Indian companies.- The position involves deep fundamental research, including detailed study and analysis of company financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - The analyst will provide actionable insights and detailed reports to support investment decisions.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough fundamental research and financial analysis of publicly listed companies in India.- Analyze company income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and related disclosures to assess financial health and growth prospects.- Build financial models and valuation analyses to identify investment opportunities.- Monitor market and sector trends to provide a macroeconomic and microeconomic perspective on investments.- Prepare detailed investment reports and recommendations for the fund management team.- Track portfolio companies and update research based on quarterly results and other developments.Candidate Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.- Strong understanding of Indian accounting principles and ability to analyze financial statements critically.- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Prior experience in an investment research role focused on Indian listed equities is a strong plus.
