Chalo- Chalo is a leading transport technology company on a mission to improve daily commuting for millions of passengers. With a fast-growing business across multiple lines, we are strengthening our finance leadership team to ensure robust MIS, reporting, and finance operationsRole Mission:- Lead and manage Chalo's Group MIS, Reporting, Finance Operations, and Audit functions, with ownership of P2P (Payables), Receivables, and team leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:- Deliver accurate MIS and analysis by the 7th of every month.- Own and streamline the Financial Statement Closure Process (FSCP).- Manage and optimize Accounts Payable (P2P cycle): Purchase Orders, Vendor Invoicing, and Payments.- Manage and strengthen Accounts Receivable: Collections, Cash Application, Credit Control, and Dispute Resolution.- Lead and ensure timely completion of Statutory, Tax, and Internal Audits.- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in finance operations to improve efficiency.- Provide insights from MIS to support strategic decision-making.- Lead, mentor, and manage a small finance team to deliver high-quality outputs with accuracy and timeliness.- Collaborate with auditors, consultants, and business- CA with 5-6 years of post-qualification experience.- Strong exposure to Finance Operations (Payable and Receivables), MIS, and Reporting.- Proven track record in improving book closure timelines and reporting accuracy.- Hands-on team management and leadership experience.- Excellent Excel skills (Zoho knowledge is an added advantage).- Analytical mindset with the ability to design financial models.- Prior experience in startups or multi-business line organizations preferred.- Immediate joiners highly preferred.
