With a presence across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, and the UAE, AfriCred is expanding to Morocco. The team of 110 professionals is focused on empowering global mobility through financial solutions, including disbursing loans, facilitating global admissions, and transferring fees.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Recruitment Specialist at AfriCred in Mumbai. You will be responsible for tasks such as hiring, onboarding, communication for African students for work programs globally. The role is purely recruitment where you have to recruit applicants from Africa, India , Europe and other places for global employers and look after their placements

Timings: 10am - 7pm

Location: Powai, Mumbai, India

Key Responsibilities

The following areas of focus will be central to your role in this position:

• Sourcing and screening candidates to fill open positions.
• Coordinating with team to determine position requirements.
• Identifying qualified candidates through various recruiting channels.
• Conducting initial phone screens and in-person interviews.
• Extending job offers to successful candidates.
• Staying abreast of current recruiting trends and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:

• A minimum of 1.5 - 2 years of professional recruitment work experience.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to use an applicant tracking system (ATS).
