Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a MuleSoft Developer at DataSkate in Hyderabad. The MuleSoft Developer will be responsible for tasks such as back-end web development, software development, programming, and object-oriented programming (OOP) to drive seamless data integration solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement Integration Solutions: Develop and implement end-to-end integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, ensuring seamless connectivity between applications, systems, and data sources.
• API Development: Leverage MuleSoft's API-led connectivity approach to design, develop, and implement RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers in API implementation and integration practices.
• Scalable Integration Design: Design scalable and resilient integration solutions, incorporating robust error handling and logging mechanisms to ensure reliability and traceability.
• API Specifications: Design and implement API specifications and frameworks, adhering to best practices and organizational standards.
• Technology Decision-Making: Make informed technology decisions related to the MuleSoft environment to support business objectives.
• Documentation: Oversee the development and maintenance of technical and process documentation, ensuring all design specifications, troubleshooting steps, and testing procedures are clearly documented.
• Requirement Analysis: Actively participate in requirement understanding and analysis to ensure accurate and efficient integration solutions.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• MuleSoft Certification: MuleSoft Certified Developer or similar certifications are preferred.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Over 3 years of expertise in MuleSoft development and integration initiatives.
• API Architecture: Strong experience with API-led architecture, API reusability, complex batch processing, DataWeave transformations, security concepts, and custom global error handling.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in J2EE, Java Servlets, JMS, EJB, design patterns, and web services is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft integration patterns, flows, and connectors.
• Experience integrating systems such as SAP ECC, S4 HANA, and Workday using MuleSoft.
• Proficiency in Java and/or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with MuleSoft RPA, IDP, composer, or APM is a plus.
