OnBase System Administrator EXP RANGE – 4-6 yrs Contractual RemotePOSITION OBJECTIVES The OnBase Systems Administrator is responsible for the daily administration, maintenance, and technical support of the OnBase Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform. This role ensures optimal performance, security, and scalability of the system in support of evolving business and compliance needs. I. Job duties and responsibilities a. Install, test, and upgrade OnBase software and related hardware components across multiple environments (development, testing, production). b. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain data integrity and system availability. c. Conduct routine maintenance such as refreshes, patches, backups, restores, and apply security controls including access management and firewall configurations. d. Maintain system documentation, including architecture, workflows, mapping documents for document types, retention policies, and system configurations. e. Managing system configurations, document types, queries, filters, and moving changes through development, testing, and production environments. f. Exposure on On-base upgradation in sandbox and production environments. g. Serve as the primary technical contact for all systems related to OnBase applications. h. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to deploy and manage database, web, and application servers in multi-instance environments. i. Work with Hyland Software or OnBase vendors for technical support and escalations. II. Security and Compliance: a. Ensure system security by implementing access controls, managing backups, and monitoring for vulnerabilities. b. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements for document retention and system operations. c. Report gaps in policies, procedures, and controls to leadership to mitigate risks.III. QUALIFICATION a) Strong experience with OnBase system installation, configuration, and administration. b) Knowledge of server environments (Windows Server, IIS , ) and SQL database c) Ability to manage multi-server OnBase architectures and integrations. d) Experience with workflow design, electronic forms, and document capture. e) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. f) Hyland OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA) certification is required. g) HIPAA compliance knowledge is mandatory h) Understanding of IT security principles related to backup, access control, and firewall configuration i) Typical environments managed include Cloud servers (AWS/Azure), with development, UAT, and production systems.
