Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Database development, SQL, and PL/SQL programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining Oracle-based applications and database solutions to support business-critical systems. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performing, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

- Write efficient SQL queries and optimize existing code for performance tuning.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.

- Participate in database design, modeling, and architecture discussions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related performance, security, and functional issues.

- Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across multiple applications.

- Support integration of Oracle databases with other systems and applications.

- Collaborate with DBAs, application developers, and business analysts to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Implement and maintain database security policies, backup, and recovery strategies.

- Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4-9 years of proven experience as an Oracle Developer.

- Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.

- Good understanding of performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.

- Experience in database design, normalization, and data modeling.

- Knowledge of ETL processes, data migration, and integration techniques.

- Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Exposure to Oracle APEX, Forms, and Reports.

- Experience with cloud databases (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure SQL).

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
