We're seeking an Engineering Lead / Architect to design, build, and guide the development of our next-generation voice AI platform. This role combines deep technical expertise with hands-on leadership, shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, and ensuring we deliver high-quality, scalable :- Own the overall technical architecture and system design of our platform (including APIs, services, data layers, and integrations).- Choose appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to align with business and product goals.- Define and review API contracts, data models, and infrastructure components.- Break down product features into detailed engineering tasks and estimate effort.- Set and enforce coding standards, security practices, and performance guidelines.- Mentor, coach, and review code from engineering team members.- Collaborate closely with Product, UX, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure alignment and quality.- Oversee scalability, reliability, and cost optimization of cloud infrastructure.- Contribute hands-on to critical components, especially during initial builds or high-impact phases.Requirements :- 6+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years in a lead or architect role.- Strong experience designing and building large-scale, distributed systems (preferably cloud-native, microservices).- Deep knowledge of API design, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and event-driven architectures.- Hands-on expertise with technologies such as Node.js or TypeScript (additionally, Python is a plus).- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.- Strong understanding of CI/CD, security best practices, and monitoring.
