Profile Expectations :

Core Responsibilities (Common to All Levels) :

- Design, build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Pentaho, Talend, or similar

- Work on traditional databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle) and MPP/modern systems (Vertica, Redshift, BigQuery, MongoDB)

- Collaborate cross-functionally with BI, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to define data needs

- Participate in data modeling (ER/DW/Star schema), data quality checks, and data integration

- Implement solutions involving messaging systems (Kafka), REST APIs, and scheduler tools (Airflow, Autosys, Control-M)

- Ensure code versioning and documentation standards are followed (Git/Bitbucket)

Roles & Responsibilities :

1) Senior Software Engineer (5- 8 Yrs) : Mumbai

You're a hands-on developer who will build and support data pipelines, work on databases, and help connect different sources of data. Youll work closely with business teams and contribute to the overall data platform.

- Should be able to understand business needs and build data flows accordingly

- Focus on hands-on ETL (Pentaho), RDBMS, and working closely with BI/marketing teams.

- Data engineers or ETL developers with strong traditional DB skills and at least some exposure to NoSQL and scripting.

2) Tech Lead (710 Yrs): Mumbai / Bengaluru

- Lead mid-sized data projects and small teams

- Decide on ETL strategy (Push Down/Push Up) and performance tuning

- Strong working knowledge of orchestration tools, resource management, and agile delivery.

3) Senior Tech Lead (1012+ Yrs): Mumbai / Bengaluru

- Drive data architecture, infrastructure decisions, and internal framework enhancements

- Oversee large-scale data ingestion, profiling, and reconciliation across systems

- Mentoring junior leads and owning stakeholder delivery end-to-end

- Advantageous: Experience with AdTech/Marketing data, Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Spark, Sqoop)

Must-Have Skills (All Levels) :

- ETL Tools: Pentaho / Talend / SSIS / Informatica

- Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL, Vertica / Redshift / BigQuery

- Orchestration: Airflow / Autosys / Control-M / JAMS

- Modeling: Dimensional Modeling, ER Diagrams

- Scripting: Python or Perl (Preferred)

- Agile Environment, Git-based Version Control

- Strong Communication and Documentation
