About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify Expert to design, develop, and optimize our e-commerce store. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Shopify's platform, a strong eye for UI/UX, and the ability to customize themes, apps, and integrations to deliver a high-performing, user-friendly online shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shopify Store Development: Build and customize Shopify themes to meet design and functional requirements.
  • Custom Coding: Create and modify Liquid templates, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for advanced store customization.
  • App Integration: Install, configure, and optimize Shopify apps and third-party integrations for enhanced functionality.
  • Performance Optimization: Improve store speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness for better conversion rates.
  • E-commerce Strategy Support: Work with marketing and product teams to implement promotional campaigns, product launches, and content updates.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly to minimize downtime.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Leverage Shopify analytics and Google Analytics to track performance and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Shopify Developer / Shopify Expert (minimum 3+ years preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus, headless commerce, and API integrations (REST/GraphQL) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
  • Familiarity with payment gateways, shipping rules, and tax configurations.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating Shopify with ERP, CRM, or marketing automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with tools like Klaviyo, Yotpo, Gorgias, or similar.
  • Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Figma, or Canva) for basic asset creation.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
