Job Description :

POSITION OVERVIEW : G10 - Oracle EBS Finance Techno functional Advisor .

- Experience implementing and supporting Oracle eBusiness with emphasis on the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Asset, Purchasing, Nice to have experience on EBTAX, Sabrix and System Administrator Modules Technical expertise in Oracle AOL, Packages, Procedures, Workflows, Reports, Shell Scripts etc.

- Expertise in Oracle SQL plus, TOAD to analyze the underlying data in the table.

- Expertise in Accounting and Financial Processes;

- Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all written security policies, SOX procedures, and change management controls


- Work with Developers to triage production bugs Manage the queue of cases and work with users and other support teams to troubleshoot production issues.

- Work with Product owners, BSA to support User Acceptance testing


- Work with Product owners and BSA to validate and sign off on Supportability functionality


- Participate in technical design review discussions with solution architects and provide feedback

Technical Skills :


1. Oracle EBS Finance Modules :


- General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets (FA), Purchasing (PO).

- EBTAX, Sabrix for Taxation integration, System Administrator Modules.

- Expertise in integrating finance modules with other Oracle EBS modules.

2. Oracle Technical Skills :


- Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) : Customization and development using OAF, Page Personalization, and Integration.

- Oracle Workflow : Develop and customize workflows, workflow notifications, and approval hierarchies in the finance modules.

- Oracle Reports : Experience in designing custom reports using Oracle Reports and tools like BI Publisher.

- Oracle SQL/PLSQL : Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, with experience in creating stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

- Oracle Forms : Knowledge of Oracle Forms for customizing user interfaces and designing forms within EBS.

- Oracle AOL (Application Object Library) : Experience with Oracle AOL setup, configuration, and customization.

- Oracle Application Development : Customization of seeded Oracle EBS forms and reports using Oracle tools like Oracle Developer Suite.

3. Financial Data Management :


- In-depth understanding of Accounting and Financial Processes.

- Experience in data migration and ETL processes for financial systems.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Migration techniques for financial data from legacy systems into Oracle EBS.

4. Data Analysis & Debugging :


- Proficiency with Oracle SQL-Plus, TOAD, or similar tools to analyze data and debug issues.

- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex financial issues in Oracle EBS.

5. System Administration & Support :


- Knowledge of Oracle System Administration tasks, including user management, roles, responsibilities, and security setup in Oracle EBS.

- Expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting Oracle EBS applications, ensuring availability and system performance.

6. Knowledge of Oracle Integration Tools :


- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for integrating Oracle EBS Finance modules with third-party applications and services.

- Experience with SOAP and RESTful web services for integration between Oracle and external systems.

- Oracle API Gateway knowledge for managing and securing integrations.

7. Reporting and Business Intelligence :


- Experience in Oracle BI (Business Intelligence), Oracle Hyperion, or other reporting tools for financial reporting and analysis.

- Customizing Oracle EBS Financial Reports using BI Publisher or FSG (Financial Statement Generator).

8. SOX Compliance & Security :


- Knowledge of SOX compliance procedures and best practices for financial applications.

- Familiarity with financial system audit trails, user access management, and security within Oracle EBS.

9. Project Management & Documentation :


- Strong experience with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies for Oracle EBS Finance implementations.

- Proficiency in creating functional specifications, technical documentation, and training materials for end-users and other stakeholders.

- Ability to provide L1/L2/L3 support for production incidents, including troubleshooting and coordinating with developers for bug fixes or enhancements.

10. Customization and Extensibility :


- Experience in customizing Oracle EBS solutions to meet the unique requirements of the finance department.

- Ability to write custom reports, develop custom workflows, and extend EBS functionality using PL/SQL and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).

11. Additional Technologies (Nice to Have) :


- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials and experience in cloud-based financial solutions.

- Exposure to tools like Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management), Oracle ERP Cloud, or Oracle Fusion.
