Job Title : MySQL Database Administrator

Location : Hyderabad (Work from Office )

Experience Level : 5-8 years

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5-7 years of experience as a MySQL Database Administrator or in a similar role.

Core Skills :

MySQL :

- Administration : Installation, configuration, upgrades, backups/restores, user management, performance tuning, security hardening, replication, clustering (MySQL Group Replication, Galera), partitioning

- Development : SQL (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, JOINs, subqueries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views)

- Troubleshooting : Performance issues, replication errors, data corruption, security breaches

- Storage Engines : InnoDB, MyISAM, Memory

- High Availability & Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) : Replication topologies, failover procedures, RTO/RPO, DR drills

- Monitoring & Alerting : Performance monitoring tools (e.g., MySQL Enterprise Monitor, Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM)), setting up alerts, log analysis

- Security : User management, access control (RBAC), encryption, data masking, security audits

- Scripting : Shell scripting (Bash, etc.), Python (for automation)
