Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant with 6-8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development expertise across various Oracle EBS technologies and SCM modules, with the flexibility to excel in both production support and new enhancement requests. You will be instrumental in maintaining a stable and accurate Oracle Applications production instance and delivering high-quality technical solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Provide comprehensive hands-on development, support, and enhancement for various Oracle EBS modules and functionalities.

- Demonstrate flexibility to work in both production support and new enhancement requests in parallel, managing competing priorities effectively under pressure.

- Perform development using key Oracle EBS technologies including Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Forms 6i, Reports 6i, XML Publisher, Personalization, Migrations, and Custom PLL.

- Maintain a stable and accurate Oracle Applications production instance, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Work diligently on production support projects, including monitoring individual queues, updating tickets as per SLA, collaborating with stakeholders for ticket progression, and providing effective resolutions.

- Possess strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to debug and resolve complex issues such as Concurrent Program failures, performance issues, and long-running programs.

- Has experience working on standard Oracle APIs, with the ability to debug and resolve any standard API-related issues.

- Analyze functional documents to develop sound technical design specifications using standard methodologies.

- Develop good technical designs that incorporate considerations for scalability, performance, and architecture.

- Deliver solutions that meet the highest quality standards, adhering to quality and SDLC processes, and suggesting improvements.

- Apply identified job knowledge requirements to make disciplined and timely decisions.

- Demonstrate Oracle Applications Architecture-level experience.

- Foster effective working relationships with all functional units of the organization.

- Work as part of a cross-cultural team, demonstrating flexibility to support multiple locations when necessary.

- Contribute positively to team dynamics, facilitation, and negotiation, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Required Skills :

- 6-8 years of hands-on development experience in Oracle EBS.

- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

- Strong experience with Oracle Forms 6i and Reports 6i.

- Expertise in XML Publisher (BI Publisher).

- Experience with Oracle Personalization and Migrations.

- Knowledge of Custom PLL.

- Familiarity with SCM Modules : Order Management, Shipping, Purchasing, and Inventory.

- Exposure to Accounts Receivable (AR) and Trading Community Architecture (TCA).

- Proven experience working in production support projects, including ticket management and SLA adherence.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills ( for Concurrent Program failures, performance issues).

- Experience with standard Oracle APIs and debugging API issues.

- Ability to develop good technical designs considering scalability, performance, and architecture.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of Oracle Application Framework (OAF) / Application Development Framework (ADF).

- Experience in working in Global Agile Teams.
