You’ll collaborate closely with ourUS Sales, Delivery, and Marketing teamsto design solutions that combine data engineering, AI/ML, and application modernization. You’ll shape proposals, estimate efforts, and bring ideas to life — transforming client challenges into practical, scalable,GCP-powered outcomes . This role is ideal for someone who is either: APre-Sales Solution Engineerwho loves architecting and storytelling around client challenges, or ADelivery Architectwith deep, hands-onGCP experience , eager to expand intosolutioning and pre-sales strategy .Either way, you’ll play a pivotal role in how Egen positions and delivers value to clients. A Day in the Life Solution Design:Lead client discovery sessions to understand goals and constraints; design tailored, cloud-native solutions aligned with business needs. Product Demonstrations:Deliver engaging demos, workshops, and walkthroughs showcasing the impact of GCP-powered solutions inData, AI/ML, and Agenticdomains. Proposal Development:Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to create proposals,LOEs , andSOWs— including solution architectures, timelines, and commercial models. Technical Validation:Advise clients on best practices, integration strategies, and deployment patterns across the GCP ecosystem. Support the Sales Cycle:Assist in RFP/RFI responses, crafting solution narratives, and participating in client presentations. Stakeholder Management:Build trust with technical and business stakeholders, managing queries and expectations throughout the sales journey. Collaboration & Delivery Mobilization:Partner with delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs, shared success criteria, and alignment on client outcomes. Industry Expertise & Thought Leadership:Stay current with GCP advancements, market trends, and competitive landscapes. Represent Egen in client forums, webinars, and solution showcases. Innovation:Contribute to internalsolution accelerators, prototypes, and reference architecturesfor repeatable success.What You Bring 7+ yearsof experience inSolution Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Solution Architectureroles. Strong,hands-on expertise in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)and its ecosystem — particularly forData, AI/ML, and App Modernization . Proven experience designing or supportingData Engineering, Analytics, or Generative AIinitiatives. Demonstrated ability to developtechnical proposals, architecture diagrams, LOEs, and SOWsfor complex engagements. Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills — able to engage both technical and business audiences. Collaborative mindset with experience working acrossSales, Delivery, and Product teamsin global setups. Strong problem-solving skills — able to break down complex requirements into actionable and scalable solutions. Familiarity withprogramming languages (Java/Python)andfrontend frameworks (Angular/React.js) . Exposure toCI/CDandDevOpsconcepts. Self-starter attitude — curious, adaptable, and comfortable balancing detail with big-picture thinking.Nice to Have Exposure tomulti-cloud environments(AWS or Azure). Experience working withUS-based clientsor distributed teams. GCP Certifications(preferred).
