Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Designer Plastic Trim. The Automotive Designer Plastic Trim will be responsible for automotive design, industrial design, product design, and sketching. The role involves working closely with the design and engineering teams to develop innovative plastic trim components for electric scooters and bikes.


Job Title : Automotive Designer Plastic Trim


Experience Required : 4+ Years


Education : B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field


Key Responsibilities:


1. Design and develop plastic components with manufacturing and tooling feasibility.

2. Generate A-Surface and B-Side attachment features per best practices.

3. Create plastic part drawings with GD&T.

4. Apply kinematics knowledge to plastic design, especially in automotive seating and body panels.

5. Design plastic components for complete plastic assemblies.

6. Use CATIA for 3D modeling.


Skills and Competencies:


- Strong knowledge of plastic materials and manufacturing processes.

- Experience in tooling design.

- Proficient in technical drawing and GD&T.

- Familiar with kinematic analysis.

- Collaborative with cross-functional teams.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
