This role is Onsite for Navi MumbaiPosition - Android DeveloperJob ObjectiveJiBe is a cloud-based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. Our goal is to allow shipping companies to improve productivity, efficiency, and safety levels while reducing costs. JiBe ERP enables increased automation and streamlining of processes, creating pre-defined workflows, and reducing the usage of email and paper.Job Responsibilities Design, develop, & test mobile applications built with Android OS Write secure code Support production applications Troubleshoot issues in development and production systems Design and develop database schemas Write and maintain support documentation. Integrate mobile solutions with existing software systemsQualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent, along with 3 or more years of mobile application development experience. Experience with the following would be preferred: Native mobile development with Android; cross-platform web development with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript; cross-platform development tools (PhoneGap, Titanium, Flex); and tablet and phone UI/UX. Experience with database design (including SQL), JavaScript libraries, RESTful web services, jQuery mobile, Agile development, XML, JSON, iOS/Windows Mobile development and familiarity with various development tools (Maven, Git, Bamboo, JIRA) are also preferred.Challenges Large scale business-logic and dependencies Developing apps that work offline and can synchronize to the cloud over unstable internet connection Consolidating multiple data sources to make analytics-based business decisionsTechnology stack and dev tools Android HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript Maven, Git UI/UX PhoneGap, Titanium, Flex
