Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Job SummaryStrategy •Daily managing of the litigation cases •Speaking with empanelled law firms regularly Business •Retail Banking Processes •Daily managing of the litigation cases •Speaking with empanelled law firms regularly •Maintaining the tracker which must showcase the litigations in favour or against the Bank •Product and process knowledge to handle Criminal, civil and consumer forum cases •Preferably from lew background People & Talent •Daily managing of the litigation cases •Speaking with empanelled law firms regularly •Maintaining the tracker which must showcase the litigations in favour or against the Bank •Product and process knowledge to handle Criminal, civil and consumer forum cases •Preferably from lew background •Must be flexible enough to travel and attend the court proceedings Risk Management •Must maintain the data confidentiality Governance •Must govern the law firms who manages the litigations for the Bank, vetting of the complaint copies before submissions is mandate. Regulatory & Business Conduct •Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. •Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. •Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] •Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. •Serve as a Director of the Board •Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent) Skills and Experience•Handling litigation cases currently and hands on experience to Banks litigation Retail portfolio.
