About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer / Data Engineer with expertise in enterprise-level application development, cloud migration, and data architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable solutions that ensure high performance, robust security, and seamless integration with enterprise data systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development & Implementation :

- Design, build, test, and deploy enterprise-level applications using Snowflake.

- Develop features to support Identity & Access Management (IAM) and implement advanced authorization frameworks for secure access control.

- Implement novel query optimization techniques, encryption standards, and other major security competencies.

- Own end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring delivery from concept to production.

Performance & Scalability :

- Identify and resolve system performance and scalability issues.

- Manage transactions and distributed data processing algorithms.

- Conduct performance tuning for applications and databases.

Cloud Migration & Data Architecture :

- Lead migration activities from on-premises databases to cloud-based platforms (Snowflake/other cloud DBs).

- Understand and apply the latest delivery approaches in modern data architecture.

- Perform data integration with third-party tools, covering architecture, design, coding, and testing phases.

Documentation & Governance :

- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical design, data models, and maintenance processes.

- Conduct regular audits and reviews of data models for improvement.

- Maintain confidentiality of data with strong compliance practices.

Collaboration & Support :

- Engage regularly with stakeholders for status reporting and project updates.

- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide application support.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams on risk assessment, management, and mitigation plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms.

- Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and authorization frameworks.

- Expertise in data modeling, query optimization, and distributed processing algorithms.

- Knowledge of cloud migration strategies (from on-premises to cloud).

- Experience with third-party tool integration and modern data delivery approaches.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

- Excellent documentation, collaboration, and communication skills.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD) for data solutions.

- Experience in risk management frameworks and data governance policies.

- Familiarity with security compliance standards for enterprise data.
