The ideal candidate will haveover 5+ years of hands-on experienceinSnowflake database administration , ensuring seamlessperformance, security, and scalabilityof enterprise-level data solutions. This role requires deep expertise indatabase architecture, performance tuning, access control, workload management, and cost optimizationwithin Snowflake. The selected candidate will play a key role inmonitoring database health, implementing security best practices, automating administrative tasks, and optimizing query performance .Key Responsibilities:Administer and manageSnowflake databases, warehouses, and schemas . Optimizequery performance, workload management, and storage efficiency . Implement and manageRBAC (Role-Based Access Control), authentication, and data security policies . Monitor and troubleshootdatabase performance issues and system health . Handledata loading, unloading, and integrationswith various data sources. Automate administrative tasks usingSQL, Python, or Shell scripting . Manageclustering, caching, and partitioning strategiesfor efficient data retrieval. Ensurehigh availability, backups, and disaster recovery planning . Maintainaudit logs, access control, and compliance standards .Required Skills & Qualifications:5+ yearsof experience inSnowflake database administration . Strong expertise inSQL performance tuning and optimization . Experience withRole-Based Access Control (RBAC) and security best practices . Familiarity withdata sharing, replication, and failover strategies . Experience working withcloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) . Scripting experience withPython, Shell, or SQLfor automation. Knowledge ofSnowflake resource monitoring and cost optimization . Willingness to work in a24/7 operational environment with rotational shifts .Preferred Qualifications:Snowflakecertifications(SnowPro Core/Advanced). Experience withdata governance and compliance frameworks .
