New Contract Opportunity – SharePoint Migration EngineerWe’re working with a leading global tech organisation that is looking for an experienced Sharepoint Migration Engineer to join out team.Contract: 2 Months (Extendable)Location: RemoteStart: Immediate StartKey Responsibilities- Plan and execute SharePoint Online migrations using ShareGate. - Develop and manage detailed migration plans, timelines, and risk assessments. - Perform pre-migration analysis, data mapping, and validation checks. - Execute migration batches and monitor progress to ensure successful completion. - Conduct post-migration validation to ensure data integrity, permissions accuracy, and functionality alignment. - Provide L3-level technical support, resolving complex migration and integration issues. - Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business teams for smooth migration execution. - Document migration processes, lessons learned, and recommend optimization strategies.Required Skills & Experience- Proven hands-on experience in SharePoint Online migration using ShareGate. - Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, site collections, permissions, and content management. - Experience in troubleshooting migration failures and handling exceptions. - Solid understanding of PowerShell scripting for migration automation and post-validation tasks. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
