Role Overview

Our client, in partnership with Hard.Coded, is on the hunt for two Test (Automation) Specialists to join our high-performance teams. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) not only functions flawlessly but also delivers a seamless and bug-free experience to users. As a Test Specialist, you'll design, develop, and execute automation scripts, and identify gaps in the quality assurance process, making sure that our digital branding solutions are robust and reliable.


Responsibilities

  • Design, Develop, and Execute Automation Scripts: Using open source or commercial tools.
  • Review Requirements: Provide timely and meaningful feedback on requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Create Test Plans and Test Cases: Detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured.
  • Bug Tracking: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
  • Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Liaise with Internal Teams: Work with developers and product managers to identify system requirements.
  • Monitor Debugging Process Results: Investigate the causes of non-conforming software.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of new testing tools and test strategies.


Must-Haves


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Agile testing.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in integration testing.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Selenium with Python.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.


Certification: ISTQB certified or similar certification.


Good-to-Have

Technical Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
  • Experience with Python and related frameworks (Django, FastAPI).
  • Experience with microservice architecture.

Global Experience: Experience working with companies outside India.


Additional Requirements

  • Start Date: We need to start this position within one month.
  • Location: Grant Road, Mumbai.
