We are seeking a talented and experienced Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in Appium to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality mobile applications. As an Automation Test Engineer specializing in Appium, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile applications. You will work closely with our development and QA teams to identify test requirements, create test plans, and implement test scripts using Appium. 



Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Create and manage test automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to understand testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
  • Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
  • Identify opportunities for improving testing processes and implement best practices for test automation.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and test automation technologies and methodologies advancements.
  • Document test plans, test cases, test results, and any issues identified during testing.
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress and participate in team meetings to discuss project status.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the development and deployment pipeline.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members on test automation best practices and Appium usage.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years in test automation using Appium.
  • Proven experience in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Proficient in Appium and other test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
