This role blends platform architecture with hands-on engineering — focusing on performance, security, automation, cost-efficiency, and a stellar developer experience. Working within agile teams, this engineer collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, data, and product stakeholders to advance platform capabilities and align infrastructure with business strategy. This position plays a crucial role in enabling operational excellence, innovation, and strategic growth through robust platform solutions.What You’ll Do • Design, develop, and deploy platform services to improve performance, security, and cost optimization • Enhance and maintain infrastructure to efficiently handle core data workloads • Collaborate across engineering, data, and product teams to expand platform capabilities • Build automation pipelines to support deployment and developer experience at scale • Ensure the security and resilience of platform architecture and implementation • Work within Agile frameworks to streamline platform engineering and delivery • Contribute to cross-functional projects and support strategic technology initiatives • Participate in platform lifecycle planning, observability, and cost management • Perform other responsibilities and projects as assigned by leadershipWhat You’ll Bring • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred) • 4–7 years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps • Strong background in cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure automation • Proven ability to lead and implement scalable platform solutions in enterprise settings • Hands-on experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code • Proficiency in Agile development and cross-functional collaboration • Deep understanding of platform security, performance tuning, and operational optimization • Certifications (preferred): CKA, AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP
