Role Description: The Business Analyst will:

  • Lead the Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) Change projects, working with local and regional stakeholders to manage and deliver the project book of work.
  • Build knowledge of CCR systems and processes to support project delivery.
  • Independently manage medium to large projects throughout the lifecycle, utilizing BA tools such as business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specification documents (FSDs), data matrix, and workflow diagrams.
  • Run test management processes, including test strategy/approach documentation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test plans, test scenarios, and implementation plans.
  • Assist stakeholders with tactical/strategic solution requirements and services.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Risk Management, Risk Middle Office, and Front Office to identify opportunities for project delivery and process improvement.
  • Work with regional counterparts to establish project governance models and induction frameworks for new project resources.
  • Prepare project reports, including weekly updates, monthly status reports, risk highlights, resource utilization, and recommendations for adjustments based on trends.


Skills, Experience, Qualifications, and Knowledge Required:


  • Practical Experience: Solid experience in Counterparty Credit Risk Management, with expertise in areas such as exposure calculation (PE, EEPE, EE), PD/LGD calculation, and regulatory capital for credit risk.
  • Basel Norms Knowledge: Familiarity with Basel regulations for credit risk capital computation across various asset classes and product types.
  • Financial Products and Risk Methodology: Strong understanding of financial products and risk methodology across all asset classes.
  • Project Methodologies: Ability to operate in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with an understanding of required deliverables for each.
  • Documentation and Process Control: High attention to detail, with a commitment to high standards in documentation, processes, and control environments.
  • SDLC Experience: Experience across the full E2E system delivery lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Data Analysis and BI Solutions: Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, Denodo, Dremio, PowerBI, Alteryx, and Tableau.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt effectively to changing plans, domains, and priorities.
  • Handling Ambiguity: Ability to stay on target and complete goals despite obstacles or adverse circumstances.
  • Commitment to Results: Demonstrated ability to follow up rigorously on commitments to achieve results.
  • Functional Testing Knowledge: Strong understanding of functional testing best practices, especially User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Process Improvement and Automation: Ability to identify inefficiencies in processes and suggest ideas for automation or operating model changes.
