Responsibilities :

- Should have a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in OpenShift and Docker/K8s.

- Cluster maintenance and administration experience on OpenShift and Kubernetes.

- Work on a platform for monitoring, logging, and orchestration of container applications.

- Development and implement platform components to support containers, microservices.

- Perform health checks and troubleshoot issues.

- Experience deploying to and orchestrating containers (VMware Tanzu, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift etc.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD Pipelines in a globally distributed environment using Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker registry, etc.

- In-depth knowledge of micro-services.

- Deploying and managing micro-services using container orchestration platforms.

- Building and updating CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with Jenkins or other CI tools.

- Knowledge of developing applications in Java, J2EE, Spring.

- Building solutions for monitoring, logging, security, and scalability of applications.

- Experience working with Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, Firewall.

- To work in a 24 - 7 support environment.

- Good to have the Red hat OpenShift Admin certification, CKA certification, TKG Certification.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or any related field (BTech/MTech/BE/ME).

- Good knowledge and experience working on VMware tools (Vsphere, VMs, Vcentre, Virtual machines, etc.

- Good experience in providing support and working on the Tanzu container platform or Tanzu Kubernetes Cluster.

- Experience in Software versions Upgrades and patch updates, Node Configurations, Installing Clusters, and Network Optimization.

- Creating alerts using Prometheus will be an added advantage.

- Managing and maintaining vSphere, virtual machines (VMs), and monitoring datastore usage in vSphere Client.

- Good understanding of cloud concepts, virtual machines, and container tools.

- Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment.

- A good understanding of Linux/Windows and networking is preferred.

- Good interpersonal communication skills in order to work successfully with customers in high-stress and or ambiguous situations.

- Good Work experience in the Technical domain.

- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer-facing environment.

- Ability to follow standard engineering principles and practices and a Logical approach to problem-solving.
