Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PeopleSoft Developer to augment and strengthen the customer's existing team.

This consultant will bring deep technical expertise across PeopleSoft applications, tools, and integrations, ensuring ongoing system stability while also enabling enhancements aligned with your business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Development & Customization :

- Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft components using PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, etc.

- Customize delivered modules and build new functionality while adhering to best practices.

- Develop and maintain Application Engine programs, reports, and interfaces.

Integration & Interfaces :

- Create and support integrations between PeopleSoft and third-party systems using Integration Broker, REST/SOAP web services, and other tools.

- Troubleshoot and optimize interface performance.

System Analysis & Support :

- Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Analyze and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

- Provide technical support during testing cycles and deployment.

Best Practices & Documentation :

- Follow coding standards, version control, and migration procedures.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed objects and processes.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of PeopleSoft technical experience, including hands-on development in PS Finance.

- Advanced expertise with PeopleTools: Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, Query, BI Publisher.

- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, security, and workflow.

- Proven experience supporting upgrades, patches, and customizations.

- Solid experience with SQL relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server), and performance tuning.

- Experience with integration technologies (REST, SOAP, APIs, flat-file, etc.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with functional and technical stakeholders.
