About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced SEO Content Writer, ideally with a background in the gaming or e-commerce industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of SEO best practices, including hands-on experience with keyword research tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with sharp attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to adapt tone and voice to suit different content formats and target audiences. Familiarity with gaming trends, genres, and gamer communities is a big plus.

Responsibilities:

SEO Content Creation:

• Research, plan, and write optimized long-form articles, guides, blog posts, and landing page content for gaming-related topics.
• Implement on-page SEO best practices including keyword placement, meta titles and descriptions, internal linking, and headings optimization.
• Stay updated on Google algorithms and SEO trends to adapt strategies.
• Develop culturally inclusive and localized content that resonates with diverse international customers.
• Ensure clarity and accessibility by considering global SEO practices, currency formats, measurement units, and compliance with local regulations to maximize worldwide reach and engagement.

Gaming & E-Commerce Industry Focused Writing:

• Produce engaging content on game reviews, industry trends, tips & tricks, character deep dives, and gaming culture.
• Adapt content style to appeal to various gamer demographics and platforms.
• Create compelling product descriptions and category pages that clearly highlight features, benefits, and unique selling points to drive conversions and enhance user experience. This includes using persuasive language, storytelling, and SEO best practices to maximize visibility in search engines.

Content Variety & Additional Opportunities:

• Social Media Content: Create posts, captions, and short-form content for gaming communities.
• Email Marketing: Craft newsletters and promotional campaigns.
• Video Scripts: Write engaging scripts for YouTube or streaming platforms.
• Ad Copywriting: Prepare ad creatives and promotional blurbs.
• Interactive Content: Work with design teams on quizzes, polls, and game-based interactive content.
• Work closely with SEO, Design, and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive, high-impact outcomes.
• Manage multiple content projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Required Skills:

• Experience in scriptwriting for game trailers or gameplay videos.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console).
• Understanding of content marketing funnels and conversion-focused writing.
• Basic knowledge of HTML for SEO implementation.
• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress or similar).
