We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer specializing in frontend development with a strong focus on ReactJS and the Firebase ecosystem.

As a Lead Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving the development of our user-facing applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and exceptional user experience. You will lead frontend development efforts, mentor junior engineers, collaborate closely with product and design teams, and champion code quality and best practices.

What Youll Do :


- Take ownership of the frontend development lifecycle using ReactJS (including Hooks, Redux, Components, and related libraries).

- Architect, develop, and scale applications leveraging the Firebase ecosystem, including Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, and other relevant services.

- Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to understand user stories, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver high-performance, user-centric code.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior frontend engineers. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and first-time-right quality.

- Take responsibility for optimizing frontend performance, ensuring fast load times, responsiveness, and a smooth user experience across different devices.

- Ensure that frontend applications are accessible to users of all abilities and adhere to security best practices to protect user data.

- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our frontend architecture, promoting scalability, maintainability, and reusability.

- Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies and trends, and proactively identify opportunities to introduce innovative solutions and improve our development processes.

What Were Looking For :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing complex and scalable frontend applications using ReactJS.

- Strong practical experience with the Firebase ecosystem, including Authentication, Firestore (or Realtime Database), Cloud Functions, Storage, and Hosting.

- Skilled in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), RESTful API integration, Webpack (or similar module bundlers), and unit testing frameworks like Jest (or similar).

- A strong commitment to writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, following modern design patterns and software development best practices.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively work within a team and

demonstrate leadership qualities in guiding and mentoring peers.

- A proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.

- A passion for tackling complex problems and a willingness to experiment with new tools and technologies.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Proven ability to optimize frontend performance for speed and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

- In-depth understanding and experience with state management libraries beyond Redux (e.g., Context API, Zustand, Recoil).

- A good understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to translate design specifications into functional and visually appealing interfaces.
