Title: Associate Accounting Manager General LedgerExperience: 68 YearsShift Timing: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM ISTRole OverviewThe Associate Accounting Manager - General Ledger will lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) operations for the APAC region, ensuring timely and accurate month-end close, compliance with accounting standards, and internal control adherence. The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities for the APAC region- Ensure timely monthly closing of books as per agreed timelines- Review financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP (IGAAP)- Prepare and review P&L flux analysis and variance explanations- Review and monitor Balance Sheet schedules as per management format- Ensure compliance with tax regulations including GST, TDS, and Income Tax requirements- Review computations for advance tax and self-assessment tax under Income-tax Act, 1961- Implement and enforce internal financial controls to maintain data integrity- Coordinate with statutory, internal, tax and transfer pricing auditors during audits- Ensure timely filing of tax returns including GST, income tax, and other applicable taxes- Drive accounting process improvements and compliance initiatives- Work on ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for finance reporting requirementsRequired Skillsets- Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant preferred- 6-8+ years experience in R2R / General Ledger accounting- Strong understanding of IGAAP and accounting principles- Hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations- Experience in Balance Sheet & P&L review and variance analysis- Strong understanding of internal controls and audit processes- Experience working with auditors and cross-functional teams- ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment (ref:iimjobs.com)
