Head – Student Internship ProgramLocation: Brainware University, Barasat, KolkataExperience: 8–15 years (Corporate Relations, Internship Coordination, or Employability Development)Mode: Full-time | On CampusAbout the Role:-At Brainware University, we believe that every classroom must open into the world of work.We’re seeking a strategic and dynamic professional to lead our Student Internship Program — a key bridge between academia and industry.The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage end-to-end internship frameworks that help students gain real-world exposure and become career-ready graduates.Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):-- Design and manage the University’s comprehensive student internship policy across all departments. - Liaise with industry partners to create internship pipelines in sectors such as IT, Management, Healthcare, Engineering, Media, and Allied Sciences. - Coordinate with placement, training, and academic teams to align internships with curriculum outcomes and credit systems. - Plan and monitor pre-internship training modules, orientation sessions, and evaluation structures. - Facilitate MoUs with organizations for structured, recurring internship opportunities. - Track and document internship performance, feedback, and completion reports for accreditation and NAAC/NIRF submissions. - Host industry interaction sessions, alumni talks, and employer roundtables to strengthen networks and improve internship conversions. - Evaluate student readiness and mentor them on workplace skills, ethics, and professional behavior.Qualifications:-- Master’s degree (mandatory) with over 60% marks at all academic levels. - Ph.D. (desirable) - Minimum 8–15 years of relevant and proven experience, including leadership or coordination roles in corporate relations, internships, or training divisions within universities or industry.Core Skills & Competencies:-- Proven ability to build and maintain corporate partnerships for internships and placements. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Strong organizational and data-management capabilities; proficiency in maintaining reports and dashboards. - Familiarity with AICTE/UGC internship credit frameworks, NEP-2020 guidelines, and academic-industry collaboration models. - Empathetic mentor with a student-centric and industry-aligned approach.How To Apply:-Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications, including a cover letter and a CV, to hrd@brainwareuniversity.ac.in/ benazir.hr@brainwareuniversity.ac.in or you may call 033-69010542/8972560027/ 8826441799
