Join us to lead large-scale Ceph deployments, contribute upstream, and drive storage innovationRoles and Responsibilities Technical Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of Ceph Storage Engineers to architect, deploy, and manage scalable Ceph solutions. Architecture & Design:Plan complex, multi-datacenter Ceph infrastructures with high availability and performance. Deployment & Operations:Oversee installation, tuning, upgrades, and lifecycle of Ceph clusters across environments. Performance & Capacity:Benchmark and optimize Ceph storage. Conduct capacity planning for growing workloads. Automation & Python Scripting:Develop custom tools and automate tasks using Python to improve efficiency and reliability. Upstream Contribution:Actively contribute to the Ceph open-source community code, bug fixes, enhancements. Monitoring & Troubleshooting:Build robust monitoring solutions. Resolve critical issues swiftly and systematically. Backup, DR & Security:Design resilient backup/DR strategies and ensure compliance with security best practices. Cross-Team Collaboration:Work with infra, dev, and network teams to integrate Ceph into larger infrastructure stacks.
