Roles and Responsibilities:


  • As an Infrastructure Project Manager, you are responsible for end-to-end project management for a set of projects of Medium to High complexity - includes project planning, delivery, client interaction, troubleshooting, managing project operational parameters and people management.
  • Overall 10+ years of experience in handling infrastructure transformation and migration projects.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience working in IT operations environment with increasing responsibility.
  • Must have understanding and knowledge of infrastructure layer, should be familiar with all kinds of Infra Platform and associated technologies for e.g. Wintel, VMware and Linux
  • Hands-on experience or deep infrastructure knowledge on platforms
  • Ability to work closely with program and technical leadership to appropriately plan the full downstream lifecycle of infrastructure management.
  • Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, work streams & activities.
  • Significant experience establishing and managing Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance team procedures including ticketing, escalation, remediation, and post-mortem review.
  • Experience with using one or more ITSM solutions to maintain appropriate standards of service for end user.
  • Manage projects to deliver customer business outcomes for transactional and subscription projects
  • Provide leadership, hold customers and the project team accountable to deliver projects on-time, within budget with high quality, while achieving customer satisfaction
  • Perform overall project-level planning and lead execution
  • Provide vision, strategy and business objective alignment to lead end-to-end project implementation
  • Responsible for project metric tracking, and managing project financials and profitability
  • Identify opportunities for additional business and provide input to presales and renewal evaluation
  • Identify risk, issues and develop risk response strategy
  • Lead the execution of contract Change Management process
  • Manage Partner delivery and commercials when 3rd party technical delivery resources are engaged on program
  • Build Cisco's project community by sharing lessons learned, best practices and participating in the PM Role Community
  • Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.
  • Strong infrastructure project management skills and a solid understanding of project life cycle.
  • Experience with Infrastructure solution delivery approaches.
  • Business & commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills are also essential.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • A good communicator with effective stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills
  • Be a good team player and an effective individual who is able to motivate their project team.
  • Good understanding of various IT domains and ability to forecast inter dependencies.
  • Customer support and to act as a single point contact for the customer and ensure that service norms committed to customer are met.
  • Very Good Communication (verbal and written), presentation and documentation skills are important.
  • Strong experience in customer facing environments.
  • Should be self-motivated, have a flair to lead, passion to learn and excel.
